QUARTZITE

Quartzite is a very durable and dense natural stone quarried from the Earth. In terms of hardness, quartzite is one step above granite. This makes it stain, scratch, and heat resistant. As you can see below, some quartzites form into simple and ethereal patterns. Others contain extremely dynamic, artwork-like veining. Some quartzites have the appearance similar to marbles (light and soft patterns), but they hold up much better.
